2023:The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off, originally scheduled for Monday in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been postponed.

Despite opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) launched its presidential campaign in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
The APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, returned to the country a few days before the campaign’s start was postponed.
There are hints that the campaign was postponed because stakeholders are still holding high-level consultations.
Remember that the National Working Committee of the APC, led by Abdullahi Adamu, and the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), all met at the national secretariat of the party.
The ruling party called the meeting to discuss the six National Vice Chairmen’s postponed zonal tour and the proposed “APC National Conference” modalities, which it plans to hold before the end of the year.
The campaign council’s composition was also a topic of discussion among the stakeholders.
In an interview with Vanguard, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, mentioned that the presidential campaign is a marathon.
In addition, he stated that it has begun in Lagos, Benue, Kogi, Katsina, and other states.
Onanuga, on the other hand, stated that the commencement of the presidential campaign will be contingent on the date on which the party officially appoints its PCC.
The party’s Women Wing is now scheduled for inauguration tomorrow at the Presidential Villa, despite the fact that the presidential council has not yet been inaugurated.
When asked if the campaign would continue tomorrow, Onanuga responded simply, “No sir.”
