After the accident with the convoy, Osun Speaker Timothy Owoeye and his assistants are in the hospital
After his convoy was involved in an accident on Thursday, Osun Speaker Timothy Owoeye and some of his aides are being treated in a hospital.

The Nation learned that the Speaker was traveling from Ilesha to Osogbo following an official assignment when the accident occurred around 2 p.m. along Ilesha/Osogbo.
The Nation was informed by an eyewitness that heavy rain caused a vehicle headed for Ilesha to lose control and crash into an Osogbo-bound convoy.
Kunle Alabi, the Speaker’s media assistant, confirmed the accident.He stated, “Along the Osogbo/Ilesha road, there was a head-on collision.The injured Speaker and his assistants have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
“The Speaker is fine, but they must thoroughly examine him to ensure that he is not injured.I can’t tell you how many of his assistants were hurt, but no one died in the accident.
