Aisha Buhari Apologizes to Nigerians for Hard Times The wife of the president, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, offered her apologies to Nigerians on Friday for the difficult economic conditions and sense of insecurity that the Buhari-led regime had to deal with.
“I want to take advantage of this opportunity to ask for forgiveness from the Ulamas and Nigerians as a whole, even though the regime might not have been perfect.During the 62nd Independence Day Special Juma’at prayer and Public Lecture on the Theme Shura:, Mrs. Buhari stated, “We all need to work together to achieve a better Nigeria.”Abuja’s National Mosque Conference Hall is the location of the Islamic Foundation for True Democracy.
In addition to pleading with Nigerians to pray for a peaceful transition of power in 2023, Buhari stated that citizens must band together to restore normalcy and peace in the country’s most troubled regions.
“The regime may not have been a perfect one, but I want to seize this opportunity to seek forgiveness from the Ulamas and Nigerians in general,” she declared.To make Nigeria better, we all need to work together.
