Enugu’s APC youth leader was shot to death

In a community in Enugu State, a group of criminals who have not been identified are said to have killed an APC youth leader.


According to information that was made available to journalists on Sunday (today), Lucky Okechukwu was killed last night in the state’s Igboeze South Local Government Area.

A community member who spoke on the condition of anonymity said Okechukwu was shot to death last night in the Unadu area of the town, despite the fact that the state police command has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
Because he was not authorized to speak on behalf of the APC, the chieftain of the party said, “I don’t want my name in its entirety.”It is true, yes.I don’t know his real name, but we were told that gunmen shot him dead last night.A statement will be issued if the party wishes to speak about the incident.
According to the PUNCH’s report, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the state Police Public Relations Officer, did not return his calls or messages when the incident was first reported.

In the meantime, the Enugu Police Command stated on Sunday that it is conducting an investigation into the tragic deaths of five family members that occurred over the weekend in the state.
Akahi News learned that the five family members’ dead bodies were discovered in their community apartment in Amutenyi, a village in the Obollo-Afor community in the state’s Udenu Local Government Area.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday morning, according to the report.Daniel Ndukwe, the command’s spokesman, provided police with confirmation on Sunday that the incident involved a woman, her two children, and two sisters who were visiting her.

It stated that the victims had been taken to the morgue for an autopsy to determine their causes of death.
The mother, Chinyere Odoh, and her two children were identified as the deceased:Udochukwu Odoh “f,” who is seven years old, and Chukwuemeka Odoh “m,” who is four years old, are her two sisters.Ngozi Ezeme and Martina Ezeme.
Ndukwe went on to say that the State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ammani, was offended by the development and ordered the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department to carry out a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances that led to the sudden and unnatural death. Ndukwe went on to say more about the incident.
Ammani offered his sympathies to the deceased person’s friends and family.In the meantime, the Command stated that a preliminary investigation showed that the deceased went to bed the night before and were not seen the next morning.
