Apostle Johnson Suleman, Omega Fire Ministries’ General Overseer, has spoken out about the attack on his convoy in Auchi, Edo State.
The clergyman was returning from a trip on Friday evening when the gunmen opened fire on his convoy, killing seven people, including three police officers, as previously reported by Akahi News.
Samuel Amune, Suleman’s attorney, told the Punch that the cleric had just returned from a program abroad and that he escaped death by a hair.
He stated, “He was returning from a journey, and some assassins attacked him just as he was about to reach the shores of Auchi.”Among others, three of his police assistants perished. He has previously traveled and recently completed a program in Tanzania.
Suleman Speaks In a video that went viral online, the clergyman said that he has been experiencing certain things since 2017, but he has chosen to keep quiet about it.
He says that despite the numerous scandals that have been spread about him, he is still moving on, which is the primary reason why some people decided to try to kill him.
Suleman narrated the incident, claiming that he knew the unknown gunmen who shot his wife and children.
He stated that he would not name them because they would likely deny it.
Apostle Suleman went on to say that he can’t be killed and that those who are trying to harm him are using what they don’t know as leverage.
