Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, has flown to Europe for business.
According to Akahi News, the PDP leader left the country due to health concerns.
On Tuesday, the PDP presidential candidate’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, made it clear in a statement that Atiku went to Europe solely for business.
The sentence was as follows:Last night, the former Vice President set out on a planned trip to meet with the technical partners of one of his business entities that was affected by the global Covid-19 lockdown and the ensuing economic downturn.
“The meeting will also concentrate on conclusive discussions for its planned production facility expansion.”
Femi Fani-Kayode, a former member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council and Director of Special Projects, has claimed that Atiku Abubakar is ill.
According to Akahi News, Fani-Kayode made this clear in a post on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
After returning to Abuja from the PDP presidential campaign rally in Kaduna on Monday, the APC chieftain claimed that Atiku had collapsed.
He asserted that the former vice president had reported experiencing severe head pain and dizziness.
According to Fani-Kayode, there is a serious health problem with Atiku.
Fani-Kayode penned:Atiku got sick yesterday after going to Kaduna.During the flight to Abuja, he was dizzy and had severe pains all over his body and in his head.
He collapsed after landing at the Abuja airport.He was immediately flown to Paris for treatment.God bless him.
