
The passing of Vincent Ogbulafor, the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has caused President Muhammadu Buhari to express his sorrow.
President Buhari stated that Ogbulafor will be remembered for his contribution to the growth of the nation’s democracy and unity in a statement that was released on Saturday and was signed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
In addition, the President expressed his condolences to PDP leaders and members, the Olokoro Royal family in Umuahia, the government of Abia State, and the people of the state.
President Buhari praised the Prince of Olokoro’s dedication to preserving the nation’s unity and progress.
As a result, Buhari prayed that God would accept the deceased person’s soul and provide comfort to his family.
The former PDP National Chairman passed away on Friday at the age of 73, as previously reported by Akahi News.
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State mourns the passing of the former PDP national chairman, stating that Ogbulafor was a true member of the party who was fair and firm with everyone.
In a message of condolence sent to Okezie Ikpeazu, his counterpart in Abia state, Ortom said that Ogbulafor’s contributions to the PDP’s growth cannot be forgotten.
According to the governor, Ogbulafor had a big impact when he was National Secretary, National Chairman, and a prominent member of the PDP Board of Trustees (BOT) until his death.
Ortom lamented Ogbulafor’s passing at a time when his wealth of experience in party administration would have been useful in resolving the party’s intractable crises.
However, it was stated that the politician from Abia had a track record of excellent contributions to the party, the nation, and humanity as a whole.

He stated, “Ogbulafor’s leadership of the PDP exemplified humility and dedication to duty when I was the party’s national auditor under him.He was such an exceptional leader.
A colorful and fine gentleman has passed away for the PDP and the political class.We will miss his profound political skill.”
The governor prayed to God for the infinite mercy of God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss to the immediate family.
