Honorary US and Georgian citizenship was bestowed on Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, a seasoned journalist, has been given the honorary citizenship of Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.
The politician announced the news on Sunday by sharing a certificate of the award on his Instagram page.
The certificate, which was signed by Brad Raffensperger, the Secretary of State for Georgia, said that Momodu is an “outstanding citizen” who will be treated with “every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia in his travels to other states, to nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever he may hereafter travel or reside.”

Despite the fact that he was unable to attend the ceremony in person, Momodu appreciated the gesture.
He wrote in the caption, “Though I couldn’t personally receive this honor in Atlanta, Georgia, I most sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness and kind gestures behind it.”
