Desmond Elliot prostrates, apologizes to Surulere residents as he begs for their votes
Popular Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliot, showed utmost humility during his campaign exercise in Surulere by prostrating and apologizing to residents in view of the state House of Assembly election.
The APC Lagos House of Assembly candidate from Surulere 1, was joined by the Surulere Local Govt. CDC Chairman, Wemimo Odumosu, to prostrate in the Yoruba traditional way to apologize to all Surulere sons, daughters and residents who said Desmond has not done well in the last term to forgive him by giving him another chance to make amends.
Desmond took the microphone and apologized to the people while prostrating side by side with the Surulere CDC Chairman, Odumosu.
Following the apology, the people pronounced their blessings on Desmond Elliot for him to have huge success at the polls come Saturday, March 18.
It would be recalled that Desmond Elliot and his junior colleague in the movie industry, Olumide Oworu of the Labour Party are contesting for the same office at the Lagos State House of Assembly under Surulere Constituency 1.
According to reports, Desmond apologized at an event that took place at Mercy Eneli, Surulere, near the Surulere residence of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
