Eight times of having sexual relations with a 17-year-old student, a female teacher faces jail time

After allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student eight times in the backseat of a car, a female PE teacher faces jail time.
On Wednesday, October 12, 31, Ashley Rison pleaded guilty to charges of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition.
She was also accused of providing alcohol to a minor and tampering with evidence, but these charges have been dropped.
On the same day that the alleged offenses were reported to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Rison quit her position as a softball coach at the New Miami School in Ohio. She did this on May 3 of the previous year.


According to the indictment, she had sex with the student eight times in April 2021.
In previous court hearings, Assistant Prosecutor Lindsay Sheehan stated, “In addition to what the child tells us, we do have recordings between Ms. Rison and the child of where Ms. Rison makes multiple incriminating statements in asking, begging the child not to report her to the authorities.”
According to FOX19, Rison began coaching girls’ softball and basketball for the New Miami Board of Education in August 2015.
After posting 10% of her $10,000 bail, Rison is said to be free on bond but wearing a GPS watch.
She may be required to register as a sex offender and serve up to five years in prison.
On November 16, she will return to court to receive her sentence.

Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office stated that she was a New Miami teacher’s aide.
The New Miami Local School Board no longer employs Ashley Ra-Nae Rison.Ms. Rison resigned from her position as Paraprofessional and Coach on May 3, 2021.“At this time, New Miami Local Schools does not have any further comment,” Superintendent Rhonda Parker told FOX19.
