Following Apostle Johnson Suleman’s threat of a lawsuit if the ailing actress does not cease defaming his character, Nollywood star Halima Abubakar responded.
Latestgist.org recalls that Halima has been disclosing a series of her alleged sexcapades with the controversial pastor for more than two months. She has also made public their conversations on social media.
As Halima’s health continues to deteriorate due to an unidentified illness, the actress’s family also threatened to expose the clergyman.
In a statement that will be distributed via social media and five national newspapers, Suleman’s legal team asked the actress to retract her previous statements in response to the allegations.
In a letter with the heading “Defamatory Statements Concerning Apostle Johnson Suleman;Notice to Cease and Desist, dated September 28, 2022, also required Halima to sign a promise to “stop spreading defamatory statements against him,” according to the cleric.
Additionally, he mentioned that if the actress does not comply with his directives within three days, legal action will be taken against her.

Reacting to the threat of legal consequences, Halima Abubakar, agrees to meet Apostle Suleman in court.

In an Instagram story, she wrote, “JS Suree, see you at the court.”
