In another story, American rapper, Joe Budden names Burna Boy as the ‘biggest artiste in the world’
On a recent episode of his podcast on the Joe Budden Network, Budden recognized Burna Boy as a significant person in the music industry.
He did, however, voice his displeasure with Burna Boy’s decision to grant rights to Jamaican singer Byron Messia’s popular song “Talibans” after being included in its remix.
According to Budden, he fiercely opposed similar behavior even when Kanye West did it a few years ago.
In his words;
“I’m never a fan of people transferring ownership of already existing songs to themselves after being featured in the remix.
“To the biggest artiste in the world [Burna Boy]. Yeah, I’m not a fan of when that happens. If you made the hit, go work it. If Burna Boy is on it, that should be yours now. But I don’t know the business he [Byron Messia] and Burna Boy did.
