Ondo Hospital is burgled by thieves, and its irate founder closes it

On Wednesday, the Ondo State Police Command announced that it had begun an investigation into the alleged assault on a hospital in Ondo town by criminals.
On Sunday, the criminals stormed the Ileri Oluwa House of Hope Hospital and stole millions of naira worth of equipment.
Mr. Hakeem Oyeneyin, the hospital’s founder, described the incident as disappointing.
He explained that the burglars broke into the hospital through a window and roof.
Oyeneyin made it clear that the hospital would be closed until the community could ensure the safety of people and property.
He informed the patients that the incident had been reported to the police and that an investigation was ongoing, and he expressed his regret for any inconvenience the development might cause.
Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, the state Police Public Relations Officer, stated that the command had begun an investigation into the incident.
The PPRO stated, “It was a case of burglary, and we have begun investigation.”
