Joeboy Dares Asa Over N300M Copyright Infringement Notice

Singer Joeboy has responded to the copyright infringement notice that was sent to him by his senior colleague Asa. Joeboy dares Asa over the N300 million copyright infringement notice.
Following the release of Joeboy’s song “Contour,” the award-winning singer’s legal team served Joeboy with a notice of copyright infringement on September 30, 2022.
The notice states that Joeboy’s “Contour,” which was released on August 19, 2022, violated the copyright of a musical composition (the “Composition”) that Asa created during a recording session on September 22, 2022, with Alageu Michael Chidozie aka Tempoe present.
Within 24 hours of the notice’s issuance, Joeboy was required to remove the song from all digital streaming platforms.
In addition, the Empawa Africa signee was obligated to write an apology, pay N300 million, and give Asa a 60% publishing share on the song.
The 25-year-old singer simply laughed off the copyright infringement notice when he posted it to his Instagram story.
The following was written on the notice:”LOL (laughing loudly)”
Joeboy also dared Asa and her legal team to do their worst by reminding them that it has been 48 hours since they issued the notice.
