SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Community In Ile-Ife Celebrate Christ The King Solemnity
The parishioners of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathederal Church yesterday processed from the King’s Palace.
The procession started at 1pm from Ile Oodua, the Ooni of Ife Palace through Okerewe street, Omisore Junction, Ehindi Street and a little prayer adoration stop at Aderemi.

The procession continued to Lagere, the heart of the ancient city of Ile-ife.
Getting to the Church at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Pro-Cathederal Church, Lagere, the process was concluded with a benediction around the hour of three in the afternoon.

Indeed, this year’s Christ The King’s Solemnity is a memorable kind.
The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Oluseyi Adeyemi prays that the Universal King will continue to bless all the parishioners, The Church of God, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and the world at large.
Rev. Fr. Vincent, the Assistance Parish Priest in a similar tone prays that Christ will continue to reign as king over our lives, Our Business and Our Families.
