Patricia Asiedua, also known as “Nana Agradaa,” has been taken into custody by the police as a result of allegations of a money-doubling scam made against her by some members of the public.
Currently, the suspect is assisting the police in their investigation.

“Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action and to assist in the investigation,” the police stated in a statement on October 9, 2022.
Earlier, some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija claimed that their leader, Evangelist Mama Pat, more commonly referred to as “Nana Agradaa,” had slyly deceived them and taken their money.
The aggrieved members of the congregation claimed that Nana Agradaa had promised to double their funds through her unique spiritual endowments.

The affected worshippers claimed that they were persuaded to give her various sums in anticipation of multiplied outcomes based on this assurance.
However, in a series of viral videos posted on social media on Saturday, churchgoers who had faith in the recently converted fetish priestess claimed that their donations had not been doubled and that Nana Agradaa had vanished.
