Two are detained by police in Nasarawa for assaulting a lady

The Nasarawa State Police Command has made two arrests in connection with a video that went viral on social media showing a teenager being physically abused.
On Saturday, the command said that the vehicle that was used in the assault had also been found, but that other suspects in connection with the assault were still out on the loose.
Through the police’s Twitter handle, this was made public.
Following the widely circulated tweet about an assault on a female teenager in Lafia, Nasarawa State, the Command immediately began an investigation.It is encouraging to report that two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the case and that the vehicle that was used to transport the victim to the unidentified location where she was assaulted has been recovered.
They tweeted, “Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects who are still at large.”
According to The PUNCH, the police were looking into the case of a young woman who was beaten and had her cloth cut with scissors in viral videos.
Agatha Akaahar, a tweep, uploaded the videos and revealed that the fight between the victim and her friend over a phone number led to the escalation of the situation.
Our correspondent who watched the video saw the unidentified woman being beaten up by two men and two women as the recording was being made.
