Wilfred Ndidi, a Super Eagles midfielder, performed admirably in Leicester City’s 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in Monday night’s Premier League match at the King Power Stadium.

Akahi News recalls Wilfred Ndidi’s injury that prevented him from participating in the Super Eagles’ international friendly against Algeria.
There was a rumor that he skipped the national team game because he was unable to play the role he preferred for his country.
The Super Eagles head coach clarified the situation by stating that the Leicester player was experiencing a hamstring issue in a video that was shared on social media.
Returning to his club game, the Nigerian international did exceptionally well for his club because every Leicester player who participated in the match was given a rating.
James Maddison’s double and goals from Patson Daka and Harvey Barnes helped Leicester to their first Premier League victory of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.
Ndidi played brilliantly in his eighth Foxes appearance before being substituted by Boubakary Soumare before the start of the second half.
The Super Eagles standout was one of nine Leicester players who received a rating of seven out of nine.
On Ndidi’s performance, the Leicester Mercury, a local newspaper, also made the following remarks:Despite only playing half the game, the midfielder made a welcome return to form.He was very composed while on the ball and made the tackles that have been missing from his game recently.
Kelechi Iheanacho, a Super Eagles teammate of Ndidi’s, watched Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis play for Forest.
