In the early hours of Saturday, Kingsley, a Nigerian comedian, was reportedly robbed at gunpoint.
The comedian was at home in Lagos State with his family when unidentified gunmen broke into his house through the kitchen and stole valuables.
The comedian disclosed the information on Saturday morning via his Instagram account.
He stated, “This morning, armed men broke into my house through my kitchen and robbed me.
During the more than an hour-long procedure, my family and I were held at gunpoint.
No one was injured. The cash I wanted to use to pay for my grandmother’s funeral and send to my mother was among the valuables taken.”All of my costumes for my skits were taken as well.”
“They took the phone from my wife.Even my younger sister’s phone was taken in. Kingsley continued, “A report has been made at the police station and they have started their investigations.”
In the meantime, Pastor Fred Attabo, the pastor in charge of Living Faith in Lokoja, passed away on Friday at the age of 68.
While confirming Attabo’s death, the church’s associate pastor, Edwin Okolo, described it as “very shocking.”
Okolo, on the other hand, promised to release a statement but did not provide many specifics regarding Pastor Attabo’s passing.
Akahi News learned that Attabo collapsed and died in his office shortly after a morning prayer service at the Lokogoma church in Kogi’s Lokoja metropolis.
“Our senior pastor slumped in his office shortly after Friday’s Covenant Hour of Prayer this morning,” a parishioner who spoke about the incident said.
“We took him to the Specialist Hospital in Lokoja for treatment when it happened.
“We have taken his body to the mortuary at Specialist Hospital, Lokoja,” the statement reads. “We accepted his death in good faith.”
