Nigerian Filmmakers, The Critics Partners With Morgan Freeman On Short Film Titled ‘Ogun Ola – War Is Coming’

The Critics, a group of young filmmakers from Nigeria, have announced that they will collaborate on their short film titled “Ogun Ola – War Is Coming” with Morgan Freeman, a well-known actor from Hollywood.
“Ogun Ola – War Is Coming,” narrated by Morgan Freeman, has premiered to a wide range of viewers on The Critics’ YouTube page.
The story of la, a brash teenager who finds out he is the reincarnation of a demigod, is told in the short film. Unprepared for the occurrences that follow, he spirals into his destiny.
Morgan Freeman praised the members of The Critics in a video that he shared on his Instagram page to announce the short film’s premiere.

Teenage filmmakers became an online sensation after releasing their short film The Chase in 2019, which they shot entirely on their smartphones. They appeared on BBC, CNN, Reuters, and Al-Jazeera, among others.
