Nigerian Navy Officers Invade Police Station In Delta, Brutalise Policemen
In what will come across as a rather shocking development, some Nigerian navy officers have reportedly beaten up some police officers.
The team of navy officers were captured in a trending video assaulting Nigerian police officers at a police division in Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at the Enerhen police station in Warri area of the state, on Friday.
In a trending video, the policemen were begging their colleague, identified simply as Kingsley, not to take laws into his hands.
But the angry Kingsley who had blood on his right eye took off his uniform.
One of the police officers, who was recording the video, also threatened to use his teargas on the navy officers.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Navy, Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, said the naval officials were in detention for “quick investigation”.
“Good morning. They have been arrested and detained for quick investigation and strict disciplinary action,” The PUNCH quoted him as saying.
