This is to notify the general public and, more particularly, prospective students who registered for the 2022 Post-UTME screening exercise and made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the UTME exercise in 2022 that the exercise has been postponed until November 1, 2022.This is to make it possible for some candidates who are having difficulties completing their registration to do so.

OAU Screening Planning Committee Following the UTME.

OAU as a First Choice: On September 8, 2022, the registration process for the 2022 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) screening exercise begins for candidates who selected Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as their first choice on the UTME and received scores of 200 or higher.

To access the website, you must use your Surname as your password and your Registration Number as your username. Candidates who provide false information or credentials will be immediately disqualified.

OAU Post-UTME / DE Screening Form 2022/2023

For the 2022/23 academic year, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms are currently available for purchase.200 is the OAU post-UTME minimum score.The OAU post-UTME form’s requirements and methods are listed below.

Candidates who meet the requirements for the Obafemi Awolowo University’s (OAU) UTME and Direct Entry admission screening requirements are invited to participate.

Please be advised that the University has not hired any middlemen or third parties to help with the registration process. Before the deadline, you can register online, from anywhere, at any time.

Candidates That Are Eligible for OAU Post UTME/DE Screening

• In the 2022/23 UTME, candidates who declared Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice institution and received scores of 200 or higher are eligible for screening.
• In addition, candidates must have earned at least two consecutive five-credit passes in English Language.
• Candidates will not be considered for admission if they do not take part in the Post-UTME screening.
• The Awarding Institution should send DE students’ transcripts to the Obafemi Awolowo University Admission Office in Ile-Ife so that DE Admission can be processed.

OAU Admission Screening General Requirements

A General Certificate of Education (or its equivalent) with credit passes in at least five subjects chosen from a list approved from time to time by the Senate is the minimum entry requirement for the first year, provided that all five subjects are taken and passed in no more than two sittings.

• One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
• One of the credit passes must be at “O” Level or an equivalent level in mathematics, with the exception of candidates for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education.
• A credit pass in English Language at “O” Level is considered to be equivalent to a pass in the General Paper of the Higher School Certificate.

How to Apply for OAU Post UTME Form

Registration for the 2022 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) screening exercise will commence on Thursday, 8th September and end on Saturday, 15th October 2022.

Applicants should note that the screening fee is N2,000.

• Step 1: Visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng
• Step 2: Use your Registration Number as your username and your surname as your password to access the website.
• Step 3: Fill the biodata form and click continue.
• Step 4: Only this website can provide you with an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference), which you can use to make payments online or at any commercial bank.
• Step 5: Once payment is accepted, the system logs out and you can now re-login again.

Online screening will be used for the exercise. Candidates must check their screening schedule on the OAU Portal beginning on October 12, 2022, if they provide false information or upload incorrect credentials. From October 17 to October 22, 2022, candidates will also be required to attend the Post UTME screening at the times and dates they were given.
