“Wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Excluded From APC Campaign Council,”

The All Progressives Congress’s presidential campaign council’s list does not include Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, or his wife, Dolapo.
Prior to the release of the list by the ruling party, Akahi News reported that the Vice President’s name was nowhere to be found.
APC issued a statement in which it stated that President Muhammadu Buhari requested the exclusion of his vice, while debunking the claim that there was a rift between the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and Osinbajo.
According to the declaration that Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, was also left off the list, Buhari requested that they concentrate on governance.
The name of Vice President Dolapo is not on Oluremi Tinubu’s list of the women’s campaign team, which was released a few days after the list of the APC presidential campaign council was made public.
Aisha, President Buhari’s wife, was named Patron of the Women’s Campaign Team on Friday. Remi Tinubu, wife of the APC presidential candidate, and Nana Shettima, wife of Kashim Shettima, vice presidential candidate, will serve as chair and co-chairperson, respectively.
The Vice President’s name was not on the list, and the party has provided no explanation as of this report’s filing.
Some people believed that the presence of Osinbajo would have quelled the controversy surrounding the ruling party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket ahead of the general elections in 2023.
