  • The posthumous legacy of the Nigerian music sensation, Mohbad, lives on as his colleagues and fans from across the globe continue to shower his 5-month-old son, Light, with heartfelt support.
  • Astonishingly, the collective efforts have amassed an impressive sum of over N15 million.
  • In a heartwarming twist, Bella Shmurda revealed that Rema, another prominent artist, generously contributed substantial funds to this noble cause.

The untimely demise of the beloved singer, Mohbad, has stirred the hearts of many compassionate Nigerians and celebrities, prompting them to rally together to raise funds for his young son.

As previously reported by WITHIN NIGERIA, Mohbad’s grieving 24-year-old widow had tearfully shared the story of their five-month-old son’s plight.

Remarkably, reports now indicate that an impressive sum exceeding N15 million has been gathered to support the late singer’s son, Light.

In a recent heartwarming development, Bella Shmurda, a close confidant of the late Mohbad, took to his Instagram page to reveal that their colleague, Rema, has generously added a substantial contribution to Light’s account.

This development occurred in the wake of Rema facing significant online criticism following his tribute to the late singer, Mohbad.

On Sunday, September 17, Rema expressed his utmost displeasure over Mohbad’s sudden demise, asserting that no one deserved to die like he did.

The Calm Down star, however, sparked reactions after he revealed a message Mohbad sent, where the late singer shared how much he liked his song “Peace Of Mind.”

Rema said he didn’t see the message until Mohbad died, adding that it was now too late to reply to him.

He wrote on his Instastory:

“No one deserves to go like this I’m hurt I never saw your DM You wrote ‘Peace of mind’ was your favorite song Now it’s too late to write vou back. God’s Angels be with you, Rest well King”
