Soso Soberekon Slams N500m Defamation Suit On Harrysong
Soso Soberekon, a music executive, has criticized a N500 million defamation suit filed against singer Harrysong for alleged libel over claims that the talent manager sent assassins to kill him.
During an appearance on the podcast “Frankly Speaking,” which is co-hosted by comedian Nedu Wazobia, Harrysong made the claim.
The Reggae Blues singer lamented that the majority of friendships in the industry were made for their own benefit.
According to Harrysong, contrary to popular belief, Soso Soberekon was not only his enemy but also a foe. He claimed that he sent “people to come and kill him in Port Harcourt.”
Soberekon demanded that Harrysong retract the statement and offer an apology as a response to the claim.
The talent manager also requested N500 million in compensation for reputational harm caused by the libelous publication in a lawsuit filed by his legal representatives.
In his Instagram story, White Lion posted the lawsuit notice dated October 4, 2022:In fact, I always take care of business, stay in my lane, and make people happy. The fact that Harrysong will make such a defamatory, careless, and false statement is very disappointing.
