APC Chieftain explains that Tinubu’s trip to London was not based on health concerns

The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon.Yakubu Ajaka has clarified reports that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, traveled to London due to health issues.

In September, Tinubu is said to have left Nigeria for London. The fact that the former governor of Lagos State was not present when presidential candidates for the upcoming elections in 2023 signed the peace accord sparked a flurry of speculation from the general public.
There were also rumors that Tinubu had withdrawn from the 2023 presidential race, in addition to the assertions that the candidate for the presidency had traveled for medical treatment.
After posting a video of himself working out on a fitness bike, Tinubu has since denied the claims on Twitter.
Ajaka, who visited Tinubu in London last week, stated in a press release dated Sunday, October 2, that the APC chieftain is doing fine, confirming that the presidential candidate is healthy.
“In contrast to the widespread public belief, which was widely disseminated by our political adversaries, that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu was traveling to London for medical treatment. In the communiqué, Ajaka stated, “It is completely false.”
Ajaka reiterated that Tinubu was on vacation in London, primarily to meet with various interest groups for the country’s advancement.
He went on to say that Tinubu was a man with a lot of political and administrative experience who knew a lot about Nigeria’s diversity and would use that knowledge in leadership if he was elected.
Ajaka went on to say that the APC presidential candidate would use his firm desire to unite the nation and include youths to steer the country’s policy, among other things.
The APC leader went on to say that Tinubu stood tall and had a very humbling track record among those running for the nation’s top political seat in the 2023 general election.
