When Soludo’s daughter said ‘yes’

Adaora, the first daughter of Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, is off the singles market. She recently said ‘yes’ to her fiancé, Arinze Ibekwe, who recently proposed to her in Marrakech, Morocco.

Adaoro shared the news with her social media followers on Friday, August 25, 2023, when she posted pictures from the proposal on Instagram, and added the caption, “Allow me to introduce you to the love of my life.”

Despite her father’s achievements, Adaora is evidently working not to live under his shadow. She is a fashion entrepreneur and the founder of Aorah clothing brand, and the Anambra Fashion Expo.

She has a Master’s degree in Management from Imperial College Business School, London, United Kingdom; and a Diploma in Fashion Communications from Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design, also in London.

Her soon-to-be husband, Ibekwe, is a software engineer who currently works with a British online food delivery company, Deliveroo.

Before joining Deliveroo, he worked at an audit company, KPMG, in Manchester, UK; and interned at the tech firm, IBM, also in the UK.
