Akon weighs in on the contentious debate about who is the “biggest, most influential Afrobeat star”: Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy

Akon, a Senegalese-American singer and entrepreneur, discussed the controversy surrounding Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido, the Afrobeats poster boys, and the reasons why they are distinct from one another.
In a recent interview with Sway Calloway, a well-known American media personality, the musician discussed his perspective on the three biggest and most influential Afrobeat artists.
The star of Konvict music began by calling Burna Boy a “beast” who is currently destroying the game.
Akon said that Wizkid was a natural “superstar” because he could release just one song in a year and still have a big impact on the industry.
He went on to say that Davido is the “underdog,” which is why he works the hardest. The OG, who is 49 years old, also said that Mr. Eazi is smart and more of a businessman than an artist.
