Peruse Rev. Fr. Peter Adeyemi’s Daily Messages for the Month of September 2022

Good morning my dear people of God.

O God of truth, prepare our minds, to hear and heed your holy word. Fill every heart that longs for you, with your mysterious presence, Lord.

Let us pray:

God our loving eternal shepherd, early in the morning we rise to praise your holy name for everything you have done for us. We are grateful for a new day you have  given to us from your goodness. Bless and sanctify the day for us Lord.

Almighty God, we turn to you with confidence as we go out this day for  our activities, be with us as a mighty warrior. 

Guide us as we move out, give us your heavenly wisdom as we take decisions that will affect other people and ourselves. May your Holy Spirit enlighten us. 

Loving Jesus, we pray for those who are homeless today; we remember families searching for a place to live, and for refugees driven from their homeland, grant them your support and relief. 

For us who are comfortable in our homes, do not allow Satan and his agents to upset the peace and joy in our families. 

Lord Jesus, help us so  that we may bring your peace and joy to all the people who will encounter us this day. Make us truly the light and salt of our environment.

Good morning my dear people of God.

Great is our God and worthy of all praise. I will praise Him to the heights. I will bless his name for ever and ever. Day after day, I will praise the living God.

Let by pray:

All-powerful and all-merciful God, every new day is a reminder to us of your existence and providence. Thank you for this day you have given to us from your abundance in glory. Thank you for the good health we enjoy and the renewal of our bodies and minds by the repose of sleep. All we have to say is thank you Lord. 

Lord God, the creator of all things, you have placed on us the obligation to work and till the earth and subdue it. Grant that the work we do daily may serve to better our lives and through your goodness contribute to the spread of your kingdom on earth. 

Lord Jesus, through the gift of heavenly wisdom, grant that our daily activities may progress day by day to successful level and bring glory to your holy name. 

As we go out this day,  Lord God, may we experience your divine favour. Regard the works with do with kindness and watch over our lives. Be our shield and refuge in all our journeys.

Good evening my dear people of God. 

O God come to our aid, O Lord make haste to help us. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen. 

Let us pray:

Almighty ever living God, we thank you for another day we have spent according to your will and pleasure. We praise you for being present with us throughout the working hours of this day ended. Accept our praise O Lord. 

As we pray in gratitude for your blessings, Lord, bless us the more. Make the earth yield abundant fruits for our use. Be gracious to us and grant us your favour. Fill us with the gentle shower of your goodness. 

Lord Jesus, your is the day and yours is the night. Shed your radiant light of glory around us. Dispel the darkness of the night. Protect us by your holy angels. Renew our minds, bodies and souls.  In the morning, may we be numbered among living souls that will praise you wholeheartedly.
