Why I won’t let Nigerians know if I’m married – BBNaija’s Uriel

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa has said she will not let the public know when she finally gets married.

According to the reality TV star and YouTuber, she is old school, so she likes to keep such information away from the social and traditional media.

Uriel made the remark via her Instagram page while pointing out that people assume she is single because she does not post her man online.

She stated that when she gets married, she would not post her husband’s face because of the wickedness on the internet.

According to Uriel, the internet is full of toxicity hence, she will not subject her husband to any form of criticism or backlash from the public so she will never post about her husband when she gets married.

The food enthusiast said:

“People assume I’m single Because I don’t post my relationship. Listen I’m old school. Even if I marry you guys won’t know..

“I’ve seen the wickedness the internet spews I won’t subject any man I love to that. Let me collect in peace.”

In other news, Nigerian filmmaker, Eniola Ajao has spoken on why she didn’t reveal her son on social media and the reason she decided to do so after twenty years.

The actress turned filmmaker stated that she intentionally didn’t let people know she is a single mother because she was scared that no man would want to marry her.

Eniola Ajao said her mindset later changed when she realized that many of her colleagues kept seeing her as a “small girl”.
