ATSO Ile-Ife Chapter Announces Date for 2024 Quiz Competition

The Association of Tutorial School Operators (ATSO), Ile-Ife Chapter, has set the stage for an exhilarating academic showdown with the announcement of the ATSO Quiz Competition slated for Saturday, 6th of April, 2024. This decision was reached by the adhoc committee entrusted with the meticulous planning to ensure the event’s success.

Designed to spotlight the intellectual prowess of diligent JAMB candidates across various tutorial centres in Ile-Ife, the competition seeks to not only sensitise but also reward outstanding individuals. The ultimate goal is to propel these students towards the esteemed ATSO National Quiz Competition, with aspirations of seizing the coveted national car prize.

Each tutorial centre is tasked with nominating three candidates – one from the Arts, Science, and Commercial streams respectively – to represent their institution. These candidates are required to register with a commitment fee of #1,000 per participant, while tutorial centres are obligated to remit a contest acknowledgment fee of #10,000.

It’s imperative to note that while the grand prize at this level is not a car, the top three leading candidates and their respective tutorial centres will receive generous rewards. The quiz format will be Computer Based Testing (CBT), ensuring a fair and impartial assessment of participants’ knowledge. For security reasons, the venue will only be disclosed to registered candidates.

Prospective participants are urged to submit their interest forms before the deadline on Saturday, 30th of March, 2024. The application form can be downloaded from the ATSO official WhatsApp platform and the Akahi News website.

In a bid to enhance the competition’s success, ATSO Ile-Ife Chapter extends an invitation to education enthusiasts willing to sponsor prizes. Interested sponsors can reach out to Mr Ademola Adedoyin, the ATSO Chairman, at +2348033512252, or Mr Joseph Iyaji, the ATSO Secretary, at +2348038644328.

As anticipation builds and excitement mounts, the ATSO Quiz Competition promises to be an electrifying showcase of academic excellence, fostering a culture of learning and achievement within the community.
