Funke Akindele Causes Stir With Erroneous Tweet, Deletes Post

Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress who is running for deputy governor of Lagos State for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), posted a false post on social media.
According to Akahi News, Funke officially launched the governorship campaign on her personal Twitter account.
She also expressed gratitude to Lagosans for their support throughout the campaign.
However, Funke Akindele committed a grave error by writing “Funke and I” instead of including Olajide Adediran (Jandor), the aspiring governor.
The Jenifa singer, on the other hand, deleted the post in response to numerous Nigerian responses.
She tweeted,Dear Lagosians, the journey to liberating Lagos from tyranny and corrupt government has officially begun.Funke and I are indebted to everyone who has helped us achieve this remarkable…

While some claimed it was a mistake from Funke others said it was a ‘copy and past’ post as Funke would have probably copied from the social media page of Jandor.
