Knocks As Tinubu Tells Nigerians To Stop Using Mercedes Benz, Lexus

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made yet another illogical statement.
According to Akahi News, this comes just two weeks after Tinubu compared climate change to “poisonous Holy Communion” during an interactive session with the Arewa Committee in Kaduna State.
During the presentation of the campaign manifesto on Friday in Abuja, the former governor of Lagos State advised Nigerians opposed to President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration borrowing money to stop driving Mercedes-Benz and Lexus vehicles.
He stated, “As I proudly stand before you, I note that those who are concerned about the budget are also considering borrowing.Borrowing is true.Everyone in the United States ought to be in prison if borrowing is a crime.Stop using Mercedes-Benz and Lexus if borrowing is a crime. “This left many Nigerians online confused about the connection between the use of particular vehicle brands and concerns about the enormous national debt.
